Hello!
Wowzers it's been a good while since I've blogged. I've been super busy and let life take me astray for a bit now, and I'm no longer going to let that happen. Going to make this little corner of the web my happy place again and rebuild this blog.
Today I thought we'd do a "Friday Finds" post. It's perfect for this time of the year, Holiday season is in full swing and so is Christmas shopping. Below are some fun goodies to treat yourself with or those you love.
All of these companies are a great place to give your money to, they give back to women or local communities around the world. And who doesn't love giving a little helping hand this time of year?!?
Fashion:
Bloom & Give not only do they have beautiful scarves like this one but also offer things like home décor and bags. Their mission is keeping girls in school in developing countries.
Jewelry:
Aid Through Trade I have always been a sucker for these beaded bracelets, and I guess they are the original people that started them back in the early 90's. These with the tassels are my favorite. They are fair trade, & made in beautiful Nepal.
Candles:
Sanctuary Project is an amazing company who's mission is to rise awareness about human trafficking and help those who've been trafficked get back into working a normal job. They make jewelry as well but I personally love the look of their candles.
Food:
Women's Bean Project offers many things other than soup mixes: such as bread mix, spices & even sweets. Their goal is to change women’s lives by providing them with a job so they can become self sufficient.
Home:
Raven & Lilly is a beautiful fair trade brand with so many beautiful things, from artists all over the world. Home décor to fashion and jewelry.
I hope you enjoyed some of these fun goodies. I'd love to hear if you pick out anything from these wonderful brands.
Hope you all have a fantastic start to your weekend.
~Emily
