Hello, Lovelies!
Week 3 already, Wow! Can't believe we are halfway through our 6 week Christmas cookie countdown. The holidays are just creeping up on us quickly. Today I am here to share an amazing peanut butter cookie with you, they are called Monster Cookies. This is a family recipe. My Mother has made them since I was a little girl. These are the perfect cookies to make and give out as little gifts for neighbors, teachers or even a Cookie Exchange Party because they make a lot.
Recipe: Pre-Heat: 375F Bake: 8-10 mins Makes: 4 - 4 1/2 dozen
1 cup Butter (at room temp)
1 cup creamy Peanut Butter
1 cup White Sugar
1 cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
2 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
3/4 cup M&M's or similar chocolate coated candy
3/4 cup Chocolate Chips
In a mixing bowl cream sugars and butter. Add eggs and peanut butter. Mix together. Add in baking soda and slowy mix in flour. Once you've mixed in flour add you M&Ms & chocolate chips.
Use cookie scoop and place on cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
These cookies also freeze well. Just place them in an air tight freezer safe container or zip bag. This way you can make them ahead of time.
I hope you enjoy this recipe, if you try it I'd love to know. Comment below or tweet me pictures at @ChicCountryGirl
Enjoy!
Love
Emily
