Hello!
A few weeks back I heard about a shop in New Orleans called Sucré, that sold a variety of different yummy goodies, I was very interested in trying their French Macaroons. I had never had one but Id always wanted to try one. They just look so pretty. Such an elegant treat. So last week we ended up ordering some and they arrived today. Along with the Macaroons we bought Milk Chocolate Southern Pecan Eggs, which is one of their Easter selections. ( And no we will not be saving them for Easter, they are to yummy to wait.)
;)
The Macaroons came beautifully packaged in a pretty ready for Spring looking box. And I'm very happy to say that they arrived perfectly. From New Orleans to Colorado not a broken one. Now Macaroons are not a very cheap cookie but they sure make up for it in taste and presentation. Their Signature Macaroon Collection, 15 Piece costs $30.00 dollars which is a lot but well worth it. I've seen some places where you only get a dozen for $30.00+ so these are a better deal. And they have awesome flavors.
I personally loved Pecan & Hazelnut. They are very good. Not just good but amazing!
My Mom really enjoyed the Strawberry, that is one of her favorite flavors. So if your also a fan of Strawberry I bet you would love them too.
The Milk Chocolate Southern Pecan Eggs were also very nice. I love Pecans! I enjoy just eating them, so once you add a nice milk chocolate blanket over them it makes them just tasty. You receive 8 eggs for $21.00 so they aren't the cheapest Easter Eggs you will find but again they aren't anything that you will find at the local grocery store.
Would I re-purchase?
Yes, Most defiantly.

I have heard so many wonderful things about Sucre! We walked by it when we were in New Orleans over the summer but were too stuffed to go in. I'm glad to hear they ship, I might have to spring for this as a treat for myself :)
