Fashion: DIY Floral Crown

Hello! Lovelies

Today I am back with another DIY. My last two went over pretty well so I thought I'd give it another go.
I decided to make a floral crown. What is more fun than that?
I know I know nothing, nothing is more fun than that. A few weekends ago I went to a Norwegian Summer solstice festival and people were making flower crowns and I wanted to make one so bad but their was so many people in line and I didn't want to look silly waiting since I'm a 20 something year old and not 6. But hey their was a lot of older Women doing it too. So since then I've really wanted to make one and today I thought I'd give it a go.

You'll Need:
Lots of flowers. The colors and kinds are up to you. I went with a pink & white palette. Mostly because that is what was cheaper. Most the flowers that were say more "me" cost ALOT, and I didn't want to spend that much.

Floral Tape

Wire

Wire Cutters

Scissors

Hot Glue Gun & Glue

Start off by measuring out how much wire you'll need. I wrapped it around my head to get the length I wanted and then doubled that. Once you have that cut with wire cutters. Then fold that in half and start twisting until you've twisted the two together all the way to the bottom. Form the best circle you can and twist the two ends. After you've done that wrap the two twisted ends with floral tape to insure that it will stay together and no wire will poke you.
Then you'll want to pull the heads of the flowers off the stem. Decide how you want them arranged, I didn't go for a complete pattern I just randomly placed them where I thought they looked good. Start with a little glue and press the flower onto the wire. I found it best to glue the wire and then stick onto your wire but you can do it the other way around if you find it easier. Be careful cause' with hot glue you can burn yourself, I myself did that a few times. Ouch!

After I was done arranging and glueing all my flowers on the crown I decided to cut the leaves off one of the stems of flowers. I then glued them to the backside of the wire to try and cover the wire and any glue so you'll have a nicer looking crown. This was a rather easy and quick thing to make. It took me about an hour but that is also with camera setup, pictures & clean up. This would be really fun to do with your girlfriends of any age, or daughter.

I really hoped you enjoyed this DIY and that I explained what I did okay.
