Foodie Friday: Swedish Cinnamon Buns

Hello! Lovelies

Today I'm back with a very yummy treat.
Recently I've decided I want to start trying different Scandinavian recipes. Half of my Dad's family is Scandinavian: Norwegian, Finnish, & Swedish. My ancestors lived in those countries for hundreds of years until they moved to Minnesota.
My Grandmother passed away a couple years ago and since then I've been trying to learn as much about the Scandinavian culture that I can. I feel like I should keep some of the traditions so the future generations of my family won't lose them.
Anyways on to the recipe.

1 stick Butter
1 3/4 cup Milk
4 1/2 teaspoons Dried yeast
1 cup Sugar
3 3/4 cup Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Cardamom
Filling:
1 stick Butter
1/2 cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Cinnamon
Topping:
1 egg
Swedish Pearl Sugar
In a sauce pan on low heat melt butter. Once melted add milk, warm the milk until it's lukewarm.
When the mixture is heated take off stove top and whisk in yeast.
Mix flour, sugar, salt and cardamom in a large mixing bowl. One all of your ingredients are combined make a well in the middle of the mixture and add the butter & milk. Using a wooden spoon combine wet & dry ingredients.
After being thoroughly mixed, flour a clean surface and knead for a good 5 minutes or so.
Then place into a bowl covered with Saran Wrap and a tea towel, place in a dark area for 45 minutes.
Filling: In a small bowl add sugar, butter and cinnamon then combine until it becomes a paste.
Cut dough in half and roll out on floured surface the best rectangle you can at about 3mm or so thick. Then spread cinnamon sugar filling on top of rolled dough. Then roll dough into a small log and cut into pieces your desired size.
And either place in a greased pie pan or on a baking sheet. Beat one egg and brush on top of rolls. Adding pearl sugar before you stick them in oven.
Bake at 350 °F 24 minutes or until golden brown
The recipe I used was in gr. and ml. So hopefully I converted that correctly. I will list it below in its original forum.
