30 Day Snap: Day 3 Strawberry Rhubarb Pie

Hello

If you missed my post and have no clue what I'm talking about click here.
Today we decided to do a little baking. As you seen from yesterdays "30 day snap" I cut a bunch of fresh Rhubarb and so today we made a Strawberry Rhubarb pie. Yum!

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
   
 




Filling:
 
2 1/2 cups Fresh cut Rhubarb
 
2 1/2 cups Fresh cut Strawberry's
 
1 1/2 cups Sugar
 
1 small lemon (Juice & Zest)
 
3/4 cup Cornstarch
 
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
 
 
Crust:

 
 
Pillsbury's Pie Crust
 
(Interesting side note. My distant relatives started Pillsbury.)
