Sucré New Orleans: French Macaroons & Southern Pecan Eggs

Hello!

A few weeks back I heard about a shop in New Orleans called Sucré, that sold a variety of different yummy goodies, I was very interested in trying their French Macaroons. I had never had one but Id always wanted to try one. They just look so pretty. Such an elegant treat. So last week we ended up ordering some and they arrived today. Along with the Macaroons we bought Milk Chocolate Southern Pecan Eggs, which is one of their Easter selections. ( And no we will not be saving them for Easter, they are to yummy to wait.)
;)

The Macaroons came beautifully packaged in a pretty ready for Spring looking box. And I'm very happy to say that they arrived perfectly. From New Orleans to Colorado not a broken one. Now Macaroons are not a very cheap cookie but they sure make up for it in taste and presentation. Their Signature Macaroon Collection, 15 Piece costs $30.00 dollars which is a lot but well worth it. I've seen some places where you only get a dozen for $30.00+ so these are a better deal. And they have awesome flavors.

I personally loved Pecan & Hazelnut. They are very good. Not just good but amazing!
My Mom really enjoyed the Strawberry, that is one of her favorite flavors. So if your also a fan of Strawberry I bet you would love them too.

The Milk Chocolate Southern Pecan Eggs were also very nice. I love Pecans! I enjoy just eating them, so once you add a nice milk chocolate blanket over them it makes them just tasty. You receive 8 eggs for $21.00 so they aren't the cheapest Easter Eggs you will find but again they aren't anything that you will find at the local grocery store.

Would I re-purchase?

Yes, Most defiantly.

I am now a lover of Macaroons. I love this place!

Have you ever tried Sucré?

Review: Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

Hello
Lovelies!

I have been using a new foundation brush for the past 3 months
and I have been loving it. It's by Real Techniques.

I bought this brush after seeing them used in a YouTube video by
Tanya Burr. She had been using it and the results looked really
nice, so I thought since they weren't to pricey that I would stop
by Ulta and try them out. And I am very glad that I did because I love the
expert face brush.
I also bought the stippling brush, which is also
a very nice brush but I just haven't got around to using it much.

This brush feels very nice on the face and gets up close around the eyes and makes it easy to blend.

Real Techniques is designed by pro makeup artist & YouTube beauty guru Samantha Chapman. One half of the Pixiwoo team with her sister Nic.

This line can be bought either on the Real Techniques website or at Ulta online & in-store.

 $8.99

Pros:

Synthetic Taklon bristles

100% cruelty-free

Affordable

Cons:
Haven't found one yet

Would You recommend?
Yes, I would. I love this brush.

Rating:
 5 stars ★★★★★

If you've tried this brush or any from this brand I'd love to hear how you liked them.

Love
Emily

Review: Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation

Hello, Lovelies

Today I'm back with another Beauty Review. This time on a foundation.

A couple weeks back I was grocery shopping at Walmart and thought I'd stop by the makeup department to take a look and see what was new. I had been thinking about trying a new Drugstore foundation, I was currently using Revlon Colorstay which is around $10-$12 dollars depending on where you buy it. And I know that isn't alot considering the price of high end foundation but I do go through a bit of it and the drugstore does have cheaper options.
Many beauty bloggers & YouTube beauty gurus have recommended a few different Rimmel London foundations so I thought id take a look.
I ended up buying the

Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation
Price $4.00-5.00

Which is half the price of my other foundation. So I thought I'd give it a go and see how I liked it.

I'm the shade 250 Classic Beige

Here's a picture of half my hand so you can see what the Finnish looks like.

I have used this foundation twice now and I wasn't happy with it either times. It's very liquidy, it has a strong stinky smell which I don't like at all. And it's very greasy. And I don'y have oily skin, I have very dry skin and I live in a very dry state so I can't image what this would do to my skin if it were humid outside or the summer.
I tested this two times with two different powders to set it. One from Revlon and the other Covergirl. Neither of them helped. When I touched my face it felt very greasy.
It got all over my sunglasses where they touched my face and my cellphone. I was not happy with that at all. When wearing it, it made my face feel yucky. I would not recommend this to anyone. Don't waste $5.00 on this foundation, If your looking for a cheap drugstore foundation I recommend trying Covergirl. They have much higher quality foundation than this product.

Pros:
The coverage it gave

Cons:
Greasy
&
Smell

My Expectations of this Product:
I wasn't planning on it being life changing but I tought I'd give it a go, And hoped it would be nice since the price was cheap.

Would You recommend?
NO! Not at all.

Rating:

1 Star, That's because the coverage was okay

I'd love to hear if you've tried this and how it worked for you?

Love~
EMILY
