Review: L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream

Hello, Lovelies

Last December or maybe late November I took a little trip to Sephora to get my birthday gift and just to browse for the fun of it with my Mom. We ended up getting a few little things. She bought her favorite lip product: Fresh Sugar Lip Balm. She just loves that stuff. And we also picked up a L'Occitane gift set. I went there to look at the Shea Butter Cream but for a small bottle of it, it costs $10.00 and the gift set I believe was on sale for $30.00 and it came with five different smells. So of course' we went for that one.

They all smell very nice but I prefer things with less fragrance. So I've only used the Shea butter. It's a great size to take in your handbag. Or to leave in you car. It has been great for winter because I live in Colorado and it's very cold and dry. One of the things I really liked about is was that it didn't burn my hands. I have very sensitive skin and eczema so I have to use special products from my dermatologist. So it was nice to be able to use a fancy pants French hand cream!

If you have sensitive skin and have a hard time finding products that don't hurt your skin I'd recommend trying this one out.

The only things bad I have to say about this product is that locally I can only buy it at Sephora, and it isn't cheap. $10 for the small size. But it dose feel nice and smell good. So I don't know how often I will buy this product maybe just every once in awhile when I feel like treating my self.

This is the only product I've ever used from this brand so if you've used anything else I'd love to hear what and how you liked it.

Love,
Emily

Reveiw: Eye Makeup Remover Liquid From Target

Hello, Lovelies

A few weeks back I went to Target looking for a Maybelline eye makeup remover, I figured that they would have it since they have a rather large beauty department.  But they didn't or at least I just didn't see it.  I ended up coming across this eye makeup remover and I thought
"what the heck I may as well try it."

It's Targets own brand: Eye Makeup Remover Liquid. The bottle says that is compares to  Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover. But I don't know how true that is because I have never used the Neutrogena one. But with it being a name brand I bet it costs more than this one. So cost wise you may as well give this one a try.

I think it cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $4.00 dollars, So that isn't bad at all for a drugstore product that really works.

I have to say I really like it! Sometimes I wear a smokey eye when going out and this takes it right off. I bought it because it seams like I can never get all of my mascara off and I'd wake up in the morning with smudges around my eyes and a bit of mascara still om my lashes and even worse on my pillow case. I thought it was about time that I look for an easy to use product that hopefully didn't burn my eyes.
And thankfully I finally found that product and it's very affordable. Yay!

Benefits:

From what I can tell on the back ingredient list it's Paraben Free.

I've heard in that past that Target's own brand is Cruelty Free

Oil Free

Non-Irritating

Affordable

Made in USA

This will be my new go to eye makeup remover.

A New Year And A New Life

Hey,

Can you believe 2012 is over? I can and can't if that makes any since. This year had some great highs and really deep lows. The first of the year I was having a really hard time and I felt miserable, But I'm happy to say that things have looked up and I'm at a good point in my life. But this post is not dwelling on the past it's about making a bright future. Making new challenges and seeing them through to the best of my ability.

In this new year I really would like to stick to my new plans, maybe if I call them "Plans" or a "New way of living" and not resolutions I will be able to stick to them better. I am going to try my best. I fought through the first half of 2012 at a very low point but I dug my way back and I can conquer anything I set my mind to.

2013

Buying Cruelty Free: I as you all know love my beauty products. I share them with you all, all of the time. But in 2013 I personally want to try to be better and buy more cruelty free products. I know in my life there will still be products that I use that aren't but I'm going to try my best to cut a few out.

Drinking More Water: I am a soda/pop addict, I try telling my self it's okay because I've never drank alcohol, done drugs or smoked. But it still isn't the best so I'm going to try my best to drink more water.

Working on my blog: This year I really want to get into my blog more and grow followers and write about more topics like: Food or Travel. So be on the look out for a lot more posts in 2013.

Volunteer: Sometime this year I would love to help out at an animal shelter or sanctuary, because helping out animals means a lot to me. I love my furry critters!

Be positive & Fearless: In 2012 I wasn't always positive. I looked at the glass half empty rather than half full and this year I'd like to change that. Try to be less anxious and nervous about the silly things in life, I want to try and be FEARLESS!

Be Healthy: I know this is on everyone's list. To lose weight and to workout. But this year it isn't on my. I mean yes of course' I'd love to lose weight who wouldn't?! For me though this year I just want to try and be healthy. Take walks, drink more water, eat less chocolate.

So those are my plans for this year and I really hope I can stick to them!

If you'd like to share any of your plans in the comments I'd love to read them.

Love,
Emily
