Review: Khroma Beauty By The Kardashian

Hello
 Lovely Followers

I received a few pieces of the Kardashians new beauty line Khroma
for my birthday from my lovely mother, which I had specifically asked for.
I had hoped since the Kardashians love makeup that they'd come out with a good makeup line.

Last Sunday was my birthday and she gave them to me, my first impression
was how bad the quality of the packaging was. I know the line isn't overly expensive
but still other drugstore makeup has much better packaging than Khroma.
I ended up getting Kim & Khloe's palette and their mascara pack that came with four of their different mascaras.

Mascara Quartet $19.99

Khloe's Kdazzle Palette $12.99

Kim's Kdazzle Palette $12.99

The Kim palette is the the only product I will be keeping and that is only because I opened it and swatched it. The other two products I will be returning to Ulta.
The shadows aren't pigmented at all nor is the bronzer. The blush is okay but I bet I will rarely use it. I feel like for $12.99 you can buy better palettes or just save up for a higher quality one in general.

Expectations:
They were set higher than what I received. I was thinking since they talk about how much they love beauty products that they'd come out with something worth our money.

Would You recommend?
Not at all! I wouldn't waste your hard earned money on this line. If you can't afford high end makeup, I'd try ELF studio their quality is better, the price is great & they are cruelty free!!!

So unless you are a die hard Kardashian Family fan I wouldn't go looking for this makeup line.

If you have tested any of this line id love to hear how you liked it in the comments below.

Being Thankful

Hello

This past month I feel as though I have been in some what of a rotten mood. Which is never a good mood to be in let alone with it almost being the holidays. As I'm typing this I'm thinking
"What the heck is wrong with me?" I'm so blessed and I'm taking everything & everyone in my
life for granted, and that is not very cool of me to do.

The past few weeks I feel as though their has been so much hate and negative thoughts in the air with the election and Obama being re-elected and Romney not winning.
 (I'm on neither side really.)
But with that being said I've seen so many posts from people even friends & family on Facebook
saying they are ashamed to be American or from their state. And it makes me mad. I feel like people need to be Thankful & Grateful that the live in America.
Where we were born free.
The land of opportunity.

But even in America kids go to bed cold & hungry.

This morning I woke up and checked my Facebook page as I do every morning
and I seen a post from a nearby radio station that said that our local food bank was nearly 1,000 turkeys short for their Thanksgiving baskets they give out to those who can't afford
to make a big dinner. When I read that it made me sad cause' next Thursday I will be having a big dinner with my family and I feel like nobody in my area should have to miss out
on that just because they are a little less fortunate than myself.
I wanted to go buy a few turkeys so no kids and their families would be left out this holiday.
But with the local food bank not being very close. We ended up donating enough money to buy a few families a turkey.

People are always so concerned with wanting to change the world or the government. But the way I see it is first try and help make a change locally. Everyone can make a difference.
If you can't donate food or money, donate a few hours out of the day to help
a shelter or food bank maybe organize a food drive at your church this holiday season.
Even $1 makes a difference, if everyone donated a dollar to a cause close to their heart this world would be a much better place.

Today I am going to be Thankful. No matter how bad things get someone always has it way worse off than you.

I hope this post inspires you to help out your community
&
Let's be Thankful together.

Zoya:The Gilty Pleasures 18K Real Gold Nail Polish Topcoat Trio Gift Box Review

Hello, Lovelies

So a few weeks ago a cool Zoya trio went on sale. It includes a White called Purity & Black called Raven along with a beautiful 18k Gold topcoat.

 Price $35.00
 You can buy it here!
When I originally seen the set I thought it was a neat idea but
wasn't so sure about it. And it ended up selling out fast.
My Mom was the one to originally show it to me, and was sad when it sold out
cause' she really wanted it.
But luckily for her it came back in stock and she bought it.
When it arrived she put it on her finger nails with a base coat of Raven
and it lasted nearly a week. Which it could have lasted
longer but she took it off to try the white.

As of now they have some left so if your interested in the trio I'd get it now before they are gone. I'm testing it out today.
But I used Zoya Paris and then the gold topcoat.

I think it turned out pretty nice. The one thing I really love about Zoya is that it goes on so easy and lasts so long. And it's around the same price as Essie. Which I don't like very much.
Their individual bottles sell for $8.00 each.

I'd recommend any polish from them, they are such high quality. And they are free of toluene, formaldehyde, DBP (phthalates) and camphor.
Which is a big plus.

This trio would make a great Christmas gift. I now I would be happy to receive it as a gift.

~Emily

P.S.

If you have this trio or any other Zoya polishes I'd love to hear how you like them in the comments below.
