Chile Peppers Burns...OH NO!

Hello

Hope everyone is having a lovely Wednesday afternoon.

This afternoon I've spent time burning my fingers & my lungs.
"Why you may ask?"
We'll we took alittle trip to a local Veggie stand kinda like a mini Farmers Market, And
we bought roasted Chile peppers and some green beans.

And If you have never gone out and bought Chile peppers and had them roasted
it can kinda be a HOT pain in the BUTT..Which it wasn't as bad this year cause'
we only bought 1/2 a bushel instead of a hole which was a real good idea.

But none the less the peppers still burnt my skin. Having sensitive skin isn't always fun
(Okay, It's NEVER fun)
But I had to truck along and help out which I didn't mind at all cause' when
we make Chili, Green Chili & Tortilla Soup it will be all worth the burning hands
because it is SO tasty.

Oh and just a little tip. If you ever have a burn from hot peppers soak your skin in Milk.
Last year when we did the bushel my hands took a real beating and I had to fill up a bowl of milk and soak my hands in it, and it really helped.

(So many peppers)

And then I had to clean & cut Green beans but that was so easy.
Cause' now tonight I'll be eating a yummy Steak,Potato & Bean dinner.

How my Mama makes beans is the BEST.
Slow cooker all day with butter & bacon, Yum yum!

So that's what my wildy & crazy day has consisted of. ;)
Hope everyone's having a nice day!

Adovia Dead Sea Mud & Shea Butter Review + GIVEAWAY

Hi, Lovelies

Awhile back I was sent some products to test out.

They were the Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask
$36.00

and
Cleopatra's Choice 100% Organic Shea Butter From Africa
Onsale for $13.95

I have tested out both of these products a few times now. I'd have to say that both are very nice. Good quality and semi affordable.

Mud Mask

About this Product:
Cruelty Free
Made In Israel
Helps Acne-Prone Skin

Review:
At first I was a bit nervous to use the mask since it is mud. I thought it might stink or have a funny feeling; But boy was I wrong. It has a very nice smell and feels amazing on my skin.
It is un-doubtbly my new favorite mask. I love how it doesn't pull on your skin and that it feels like your face can still breathe why'll wearing it. When I went to take it off it was so easy which was nice because sometimes taking off a mask can feel as though your peeling off your face, which to me and most people I would think isn't a very fun feeling.
Once the mask is taken off your face feels so refreshed and wonderful.
I'm so happy I was able to try this product.

Cons: None that I can find.

Pros: How it leaves your face feeling amazing.

Benefits:

"As the mask dries, it gently removes toxins and impurities and firms the skin - improving overall elasticity, tone and clarity."

Shea Butter

About this product:
Fair Trade
 Organic
Imported From Ghana, Africa

Review:
At first glance this product isn't one of the prettiest nor does it have fancy packaging. But to me those things don't matter. I'm more concerned about how the product is going to work not how it's going to look on my bathroom counter.
But for some I know that appeals sometimes more than the product it's self.
I loved that this Shea Butter is just that, Butter and nothing else. No nasty chemicals or fruity smell.
Just a basic and good for your skin item.
One thing to note is because it is a Organic Pure Shea Butter product is that it doesn't have any perfumes or artificial dyes.
So if your someone who doesn't like a natural smell than this product might not be for you.
I've heard from other people that, they think it stinks. But to me I think it's fine.
I've been using this on my dry feet lately and it makes them feel more moisturized and less YUCKY!

Pros: Organic and safe for Children to use.

Cons: Due to the natural state and yellow color, It leaves stains in your clothing if not careful. Like I said above I've been using it on my feet and it's stained my white socks. Which is okay because I plan to use it on my feet so I'll just re-use the same pair.

Benefits:

"The high vitamin A and E content of Shea Butter makes it an excellent ointment for sun-damaged or wrinkled skin. Shea Butter moisturizes skin while preventing premature wrinkles and eases your fine lines without clogging pores or leaving your skin greasy or shiny."

Would I reccomend these products to a friend?

Most defenitly.

A Junk'N Thirfty Good Time

Hello,Loves

Long time no talk. :(
I really need to post alot more than I do. Awhile back I got a little to optimistic and said I was going to post everyday. Which turned into posting nothing at all.
So im going to come back and really try this time.

On to today's topic

Thrifting
&
Junk'N

Or whatever you wanna call it.

At least twice a week my Mom "Shelly" & I stop by our two favorite thrift shop's in town.
(I'm not going to tell y'all the names, because that's just not safe tellin' strangers where ya live!)

Anyhow, It can really save you alot of money, make you richer or go broke.

We tend to keep alot for ourselves but we also sell a bit on Ebay and Etsy, If we happen to make a lovely find.
I feel like alot of people are afraid to go into a thrift shop, I personally know some people who think they are to good to buy second hand or a at discounted price. Which is a total shame, just think of all the money they are spending to live a silly "I'm better than Ya'll!" kinda life.
I also know some people aren't willing to get their hands dirty or to dig. Cause' sometimes when looking for a good deal you have to do that.
But in the end it will be totally worth it.

You can buy anything this way. Home decor, furniture, clothing (just make sure its clean, and always wash after buying). I personally don't recommend buying Cosmetics or any beauty related items, Because you never know who touched it?
How old?
Lots of germs that you don't need to deal with.

I personally like looking for anything Old.

Books
Furniture
Antique Photographs (You'd be surprised at the amount of abounded family members, It makes me so sad to see that so I end up taking them home with me)
Art

I also love accessories so I look through the:
Handbags
Scarves
&
Jewelry

It's a very fun hobby/job. It's always fun to un-earth things.

Recently I bought some Antique Fly Fishing Stuff and sold on Ebay. And made $60+ dollars :)

Antique Pre-1920 Marie Antoinette $10
(More than I normally pay for things. But I Loved her.)

1950's Pharmacy Prescription Boxes Around $3.00 each

Age Unknown Mappin and Webb Silver Seashell Dish $2.00
(Plan on using as a vanity piece to store earrings)

Just a few things I've found in the past month.

Id love to hear if you like to go Junkin'
Leave any fun finds in the comments below

Love
Emily
